Eagle Speech Team - An Opportunity To Grow

The All Saints Catholic Team, which last year finished 2nd in the Diocese of Dallas Speech League City Meet, offers students an opportunity to enhance their speaking, presentation, preparation and creative skills. Students in grades 6 through 8 can compete in up to three events at each of four meets. The categories are:

• Poetry Reading
• Prose Reading
• Oratory
• Humorous Interpretation
• Dramatic Interpretation
• Story Telling
• Duet Acting
• TV Commercial, and
• Two-Person Improv

Students in grades 6 through 8 and parents who are interested in joining the speech team for the 2008-2009 school year should contact Michael Stern @mstern@allsaintsk8.org. The team is also coached by Mrs. Wegmann, Mrs. Simler, and Mrs. Swanson. Several parents, including Mrs. Banul, are involved with the team as volunteers.!
