Remember last August? Not the heat, but the conversations with your friends regarding the differences between chisel tip dry erase markers and bullet tips dry erase markers? Or, how about coming back from vacation and opening up your email only to find 50 notes from fellow parents regarding your child’s supply list? Did you drive to Target, Office Depot and Wal-Mart, and still buy the wrong pencil box? Did you ever wonder why the teachers wanted 99 rolls of paper towel… all at once? Well, they didn’t!! To make life easier for all, the H.S.A. will order school supplies in bulk for all incoming students for the 2008-09 school year. These supplies will be delivered to ASCS in early August and distributed to the children’s classrooms prior to the start of school. Parents need not shop for school supplies in the late summer heat. Everything will be taken care of for you by the H.S.A.!
As in year’s past, supply fees will be collected in May at the Fiesta of Forms. To enable you to budget, supply fees will be:
- Incoming Kindergarten through 4th grade $65 per child.
- Fifth through eighth grade $100 per child.
