HSA Home

The All Saints Home & School Association (HSA) is a community of school parents who dedicate themselves to serving ASCS by organizing the volunteer committees that assist the school in various ways. The HSA board members meet monthly and hosts school wide parent only meetings several times each year.  Please consult the school calendar for dates of these meetings.  These meetings are for adults only and we request that children not attend unless the school has invited them to do so.

We encourage all of our parents to participate and become involved with our school by contributing to one or more of our HSA committees:

Volunteers.  Coordinates family volunteers for use as aides, office help, cafeteria help, lunchroom and/or playground monitors and for other school related activities.  All volunteers must be safe environment cleared.

Fundraising.  Every parent is expected to be a part of this committee to support our school.  Although there are other efforts, our main fundraising event is our Auction which is held in February.  All families have a mandatory support requirement for the auction.  Details are communicated at the beginning of each school year.

Communications.  Reviews documents, provides input and communicates applicable information to parents as related to HSA initiatives not covered by specific committees.

Hospitality.  Provides snacks and refreshments for HSA meetings and other HSA sponsored events and Sacrament celebrations.

Teacher Appreciation.  Organizes teacher appreciation events including a back to school lunch, quarterly breakfasts or lunches, birthday cards and other ways to show how much we appreciate our teachers at ASCS.

Outreach.  Mentor the welcoming coordinators, prayer requests, support families by coordinating meals, cards and/or flowers in time of births, deaths, illnesses or other special circumstances.

Safe Environment.  Manages files and works to ensure that all parents are safe environment cleared adults to help ensure the safety of our children.

Marketing.  Promotes ASCS through internal and external media. Function includes ad placement and coordination of all open houses for prospective incoming students.

Room Parents.  Through the direction and approval of the homeroom teachers, this committee coordinates classroom special events or activities and field trips when applicable.
